“The Learn and Master Piano course comes with a book that has everything you need for each lesson in it, so you do not have to watch the DVD while you work through it if you do not want to. The lessons are split into two parts, one is an introduction where the new concepts and exercises for that lesson are introduced, and the second part is a workshop that’s designed for you to play with. “The 52 week course starts at the beginning and goes through a lot of material, structured as weekly lessons, much as you would have with a “live” teacher. Obviously, a live teacher will be there to observe and correct any bad habit you might be forming. There is that difference between live and canned. “I have been using this course for about seven weeks. I am currently up to lesson 10. The course is very good for learning cords and their use but is lighter then I would like for playing from sheet music. The production quality is great and the play along CD’s are very good. “The course is outstanding. I have tried and tried, but I cannot come up with a single way you could improve this course, other than to offer a Learn & Master Piano Part II! Will is an awesome teacher— he is easy to understand and he hits on so many important elements of learning to play the piano while also making it a lot of fun! I was thrilled to see Suzy Bogguss singing “Someone to Watch Over Me” as I personally am a huge fan! It is evident how much time and attention to detail went into producing this course, and how much Will’s students’ needs are considered, and I for one am very impressed!
