• The audio files and the three eBooks are first rate,. The beginner’s book quickly teaches basic skills, so that you can start playing the piano in almost no time. From there on, the lessons bring your level up to intermediate and advanced levels. As with other products by this group (e.g. Singorama ) the books are clear to read, fully illustrated, very well structured, fun to follow and provide high quality tutoring. They state what to do, but also the mistakes you should avoid doing. Breaking the course up to three distinct levels enables you to progress easily from one level to the next – from novice to pro. The books and audio files teach you practically all aspects of playing the piano (e.g. playing solo piano, fingering techniques, arpeggios, playing jazz piano, improvising, etc. plus various tips and tricks), and the course is extremely comprehensive.

• The video lessons are excellent. They enable you to see “live” and in action what should be done – and what should not. They provide step-by-step demonstrations of what the eBooks and audio files teach you – and more. Our experts consider videos a must have for courses of this type, and it’s a pity that few other courses provide them: after all, it’s pretty difficult to learn how to play piano from just text, still pics and audio, without actually seeing the playing “live”.

• The Jazz Piano book and the Gospel, Spiritual and Hymns book provide very complete tuition in these specific topics. Pianists mainly interested in Jazz Piano or in Gospel and Church Piano will find these invaluable.

• Jayde Musica Pro is a software game designed to teach you how to read sheet music. Sticking to Rocket Piano’s high level of execution, this game too is both fun and effective. This game’s focus is on single notes, and the subject of chords is dealt separately, in the other games.

• Chordinator is a software game which complements Jayde Musica Pro and teaches more advanced aspects of reading sheet music. While Jayde Musica deals with single notes, this game deals with chords and note combinations. As usual – fun, effective, top quality.

• The Virtual Metronome software is nothing we would pay money for by itself, as you can find similar items as freeware on Google. However, it is nicely executed, and it’s nice seeing it bundled with Rocket Piano.

• The Advanced Learning Techniques for Piano bonus eBook is an interesting read. Although our testers did not cut the learning time in half using this book, as the ad-hype promised, they did find a very noticeable improvement in both learning time and in the quality of learning to play songs.

• Perfect your Pitch Pro is a fun game that is very effective – at least for those of us with a less than perfect ear. While attracted to play again and again, the game consistently improves your musical ear. In only a few days you would be able to recognize almost every note played on the piano. Very effective.

• Rocket Piano enables lifetime updates. As the course is constantly enlarged and improved, this means that even if new features, videos and eBooks are added and the price of the course is raised after you buy – you can get all the additional extras for free. This has happened before.
