NOW IN OUR THIRTEENTH SEASON AND STILL CLIMBING!

The Piano Guy is a 30-minute educational and highly entertaining how-to show that appeals to a huge audience people who want to sit down at a piano and have fun playing their favorite tunes.

The wildly popular public television pledge special, Play Piano in a Flash! proved the enormous interest in the topic and spawned the creation of a fabulous weekly series!

The show is comprised of three fun segments&

1. Piano Secrets of the Pros – Interviews with professional pianists, who break down the techniques they use to play a wide variety of musical genres, including: blues, country, holiday tunes, rock, standards, show tunes, jazz and ballads.
2. Tips and Cheap Tricks – Mini lessons with Scott sharing a different technique (cheap trick) each week to make beginners sound more like pros and demystify a lot of what you hear piano players playing on a regular basis.
3. Key Notes – Question/Answer section where we answer viewers questions.

We think you will really get a kick out of the show, and hopefully will pick up a trick or two that will take your playing to the next level. In addition, the guest’s performances are really entertaining as well.

YAHOO!!!!!! I watch PBS every Sunday afternoon to see all the sewing shows. I was thrilled to see your show after my usual lineup this afternoon.I have been working on learning to play the piano for YEARS. I can read music, and I do play some.
But Scott, here’s the deal… I was completely mesmerized by the pianists at our church as early as I can remember. I never lost the desire to play. This afternoon I could sort of see what’s happening with hymn playing when I watched your show. As a matter of fact, when I went to church this morning, I was watching our pianist, and I thought to myself, “It looks like he is playing that melody using octaves.”
I just wanted to tell you THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU…. well, you get the idea.

I am so grateful for your presentations. As soon as I get a good piece down, I will email you a little sound byte.
I will keep watching, and you keep coming up with such cool stuff.
