Welcome to Piano Play Music Systems
Piano Play Music Systems method incorporates interactive techniques and caretaker participation resulting in a partnership which serves to stimulate artistic self-expression. In our continuous effort to provide students with a comprehensive learning experience, Piano Play Music Systems has developed the Layered Learning Environment (LLE). LLE is a multi-disciplinary approach to skill building. Maintaining smaller class sizes with a minimum of 5 students and a maximum of 8 students further heightens this unique experience.
Our age appropriate curriculum allows students to develop their musical skills in the following areas:
- ear training
- music terminology
- note reading
- rhythm understanding
- keyboard playing
- academic preparation
In addition to these specialized group programs, Piano Play Music Systems offers private instruction for continuing students, older beginners and adults. Our instructors come highly recommended and are trained extensively for a period of 3 to 6 months. Most hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music; all have had a minimum of 2-3 years of music in college. We also have a music therapist on staff for special needs situations and a staff psychologist, Dr. Stacy who keeps us on the cutting edge of the newest research on music and the well being of children. Periodically, she offers parenting seminars for our clients.
Mission Statement: Piano Play’s mission is to become a globally recognized teaching method through its books, audio products, software and other educational materials. The company focuses on these identifiable goals: to expose, enrich and encourage the enjoyment for music, to stimulate intelligence, to develop creativity and to nurture while enhancing self-expression. Through our educational products, we hope to inspire our students by elevating their social consciousness and dedication to the commitment of building stronger communities.
